Using the service
These terms govern your use of pdfforge24.com and its PDF, image and available AI tools. By submitting a request, you agree to these conditions for that use. PDFForge24 provides the current core tools without a subscription or account. Features and availability may change. You are responsible for keeping a source copy and inspecting the result before relying on it.
Your files and permissions
You keep your rights in files you upload. You grant only the permission necessary to process the submitted material and return the requested output. You must own the material or have the relevant permission or another lawful basis to use it. Respect copyright, confidentiality, privacy and applicable contractual restrictions. Do not use password removal to bypass access controls on a document you have no right to open.
Acceptable use
Do not upload unlawful content, use the tools to infringe rights, distribute malware, attack the service, or intentionally overload its resources. Do not submit harmful commands through filenames or tool settings, evade technical restrictions, or use the service in a way that prevents other visitors from accessing it. We may restrict requests or access when needed to protect service operation or address unlawful use.
Technical limits
The upload limit is 300 MB per file (300 MiB). Each tool lists its accepted input formats and output format; support also depends on the underlying file being valid and readable. Large, corrupted, encrypted or complex documents may fail or produce incomplete results. Some operations rasterize pages, alter metadata or lose editable structure. Conversion, OCR and AI outputs require review; a filename extension alone does not establish output quality or compatibility.
Privacy and temporary storage
The Privacy Policy explains processing of files and personal data. Processing files are scheduled for deletion within 1 hour during normal operation. This is a temporary processing service, not backup storage. Download the result promptly and keep it on your own device. If an AI tool is available and you choose it, extracted text is sent to an external provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
Output review and specialist decisions
Check page order, readable text, formulas, formatting, hidden information and any relevant security properties before sharing or using a result. A visible typed signature is not a certified digital signature. A tool name is not a guarantee of redaction, archival compliance or legal validity. This service does not provide legal, financial, medical or professional advice. Obtain specialist review when the consequences of an incorrect output warrant it.
Availability and warranties
The service and outputs are supplied as available, without a promise of uninterrupted access, suitability for a particular task, or error-free conversion. We may change or suspend a feature for maintenance, security or operational reasons. To the extent allowed by law, we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these terms removes warranties or consumer protections that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Responsibility and liability
You remain responsible for your source files, chosen settings and use of the results. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PDFForge24 is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by service interruption or defective processing. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence where mandatory law applies. No statement here overrides mandatory consumer rights.
External services and links
External sites and providers have their own terms. Links do not imply a guarantee of their content or availability. When an AI feature uses an external provider, its availability and processing terms also affect that feature. Do not submit material to such a feature unless you are permitted to disclose it to the provider.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Swiss law, subject to any mandatory protections and jurisdiction rules that apply to you. We do not require you to waive rights that cannot legally be waived.
