Cookie Policy
Cookies, local storage, third-party resources and browser preferences on PDFForge24.
Last updated:
Current browser storage
The application stores your selected light or dark theme in a local-storage entry named “theme”. Local storage is browser storage rather than a cookie: it is not automatically attached to every request. The preference remains until you clear it or your browser removes site data. You can still use the processing tools without keeping a saved theme preference.
Cookies from infrastructure
The processing application does not create login or advertising cookies. Cloudflare and other delivery infrastructure may set cookies for security or traffic management. Their behavior can depend on the infrastructure configuration and the request. We do not publish an invented list of cookie names or lifetimes; inspect site data in your browser for the cookies actually present.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is not embedded in the current application pages. The application does not set Google Analytics cookies. If optional measurement or advertising is introduced, we will describe its purpose, provider and duration and add the consent controls required by applicable law before enabling it. Refusing optional tracking must not prevent access to the core tools.
External resources
The website loads a Google Fonts stylesheet and fonts. These requests disclose request information to Google and are separate from Google Analytics. External sites you open through links can set their own cookies. Choosing an available AI tool sends extracted document text to the AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy; that transfer is distinct from browser cookies.
Managing preferences
Use your browser’s privacy or site-data settings to review and remove cookies and local storage for pdfforge24.com. Clearing local storage resets the saved theme. Blocking cookies can affect infrastructure security checks even though the core application does not require an account cookie. Private-browsing settings may clear preferences when you close the session.
Questions
For a cookie or browser-storage concern, email [email protected] with the cookie name and the page where it appeared. Do not send session tokens or sensitive cookie values. We can use the name and context to investigate the source.
